International candidates must have a college-level education equivalent to a 4-year American undergraduate or baccalaureate degree (the same as a first university degree).
There are a number of universities around the world that offer 3-year undergraduate programs. The candidate needs to complete one or two years Masters Degree to complete a minimum 12 +4 year education depending on the B-school eligibility criteria.
Following are the schools that accept 3-year undergraduate program as eligibility.
1. University of Pennsylvania (Wharton)
2. Fuqua School of Business (Duke University)
Bachelor's of commerce degree in India is three years, and is usually considered the equivalent of a U.S. business degree.
A three-year degree from England, Scotland, Wales and Australia are usually equivalent to a four-year program in USA
3. Columbia Business School (New York)
4. University of Virginia (Darden)
5. Stanford Graduate School of Business (California)
6. NYU Stern (New York university)
For Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka: All three-year Bachelor's degree are sufficient to apply
7. Carnegie Mellon University (PA)
8. University of North Carolina (UNC Chapel Hill)
For India: Bachelor of Commerce degree plus membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountancy.
9. Tuck School of Business at Darmouth
10. Kelley School of Business
Students educated in India are expected to complete the Part 1 exams of a university master's degree following a 3-year bachelor's degree to be eligible for graduate consideration
Important Facts and Figures
For University of Chicago one year of a two-year master’s program is not sufficient. Candidate having 12+3 year education has to complete his/ her Masters Degree.
