The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for all international applicants whose native language is not English. TOEFL may be waived if you have earned an undergraduate degree or master's degree in an English-speaking country or from an institution in which English is the language of instruction.
Validity If the test score is more than 2 years old (from the date of the exam to the date of application arrival), you must retake the test.
Following are the schools which do not require TOEFL score
1. University of Chicago:
English medium universities in Canada or South Africa are waived of TOEFL.
India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. are not exempt from the English language requirement even if students studied in English.
2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Sloan)
3. NYU Stern (New York university)
For applicants from countries where English is not the primary spoken language but is the primary language used in education, such as India and Singapore, the TOEFL is not required
4. Carnegie Mellon University (PA)

TOEFL Waiver: For non English Speaking countries, some schools waive TOEFL requirement if the student has studied entire undergraduate course subjects in English and can provide evidence to support it.
